Relate Brighton, Hove, Eastbourne, Worthing and Districts is an independent charity and we rely on payments from clients to keep our services open to everyone. We expect you to pay for our services according to your income. The service you receive is not affected by the amount that you pay. At your first meeting, your counsellor will discuss with you how much you can pay for each session.

We have payment guidelines linked to income levels, which will suggest how much you might pay for counselling. How much you do pay will depend upon your family income, when you want to have your counselling sessions and whether you want to see one of our Counsellors in Training who have completed a course in counselling and who are undertaking further training. It might be as little as £20 rising to £65 per session.

Our Assisted Scheme helps people who need counselling but cannot afford to pay in full. If you want to be considered for this please talk to your counsellor about it.

You will be asked to pay in advance for each session. If you have a credit card we will ask you to pay over the phone when you make your appointment.
