Family Mediation in Sussex eases the hostility of separation and divorce by offering couples with unresolved issues a confidential and cost effective process in which to consider and make joint decisions for the future about the parenting of children, the financial support of the family, the ownership of property and the division of capital and pensions.

Brighton's Lesbian & Gay Switchboard has been providing a service to the lesbian & gay communities since April 1975. They receive over 3,000 calls a year, & their website handles 70,000 visitors per year, lending a friendly ear & keeping people in touch, whatever the need.

The Centre for Emotional Development is a Brighton-based charity formed in 2006. It incorporates the Child Psychotherapy Lecture Fund and it arranges lectures and conferences in Brighton on issues relating to Child and Adolescent Mental Health for relevant professionals and interested lay people. Donations from these events are sent to support the education of children in India and Sudan.
